I apologize in advance for the impersonal construct of this communication, but I can assure you that it is well-intentioned. In short, as the developer of a Green Residential Community on the village edge of Suttons Bay, Michigan, I wish to help make connections between architects/designers who share the values of this undertaking and those individuals who may wish to live at Thorntree.
This letter is an open invitation to submit your ideas and images for inclusion on the Thorntree Commons website. What we're looking for is concept sketches and renderings presenting ideas for Green Built homes, with whatever degree of detail that the individual professional (you) chooses. I see this as a service to those interested in buying a unit/build site in our project as well as an opportunity for professional architects/designers to initiate a client relationship with people who might require their services in the near future. I am not asking for any financial compensation from contributors. My hope is that as a result of this linkage we will end up with a more interesting and diverse Green Community. As in any site condominium project, I will not be directly involved in the construction of homes in the development from a business standpoint other than in my capacity as developer in the architectural approval process.
If you are willing to share this invitation with others in your field, please do so.
Thank you in advance for your interest, comments and questions.
Sincerely,

David Bahle, Thorntree Commons, Developer
